One Tribe Ministries in the Solomon Islands
In 2024, One Tribe Ministries (OTM) officially began its partnership with the Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI) through a meeting held at their headquarters in Honiara.
Along with National Director Evangelism Explosion Solomon Islands, OTM Directors met with the Commissioner of CSSI to establish a shared vision for rehabilitation and transformation within the island’s correctional system. This partnership is built around a two-phase program to enhance CSSI’s existing rehabilitation efforts.
The program focuses on spiritual growth, upskilling, life skills development, literacy training, and commercialisation initiatives to create sustainable change.
Since signing the 5-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2024, OTM has been actively collaborating with CSSI to deliver these impactful programs to reduce recidivism and equip detainees and officers with tools for a better future.
